Head of Marketing (all genders)

revel8 grows through outbound today. We already serve some of Germany's best-known enterprises, public sector organisations and Mittelstand leaders, but the inbound engine behind that signal isn't there yet. You can be the one building it.

You own marketing end-to-end: paid, SEO and AI-search, content, product marketing, the website, and whatever else marketing touches. The budget, the channel bets, and the pipeline number are all yours. Our sales team is ready to work with all the leads you send them.

This is greenfield, and it's one of the most important hires we'll make. You're not taking over someone else's playbook or optimising a channel at the margins. You build the marketing function and team at revel8 from the ground up, define how it works, and grow it as the company grows. You report to both Founders and work closely with them early on to learn the product and the market. After that we expect you to run it independently.

• Bring 5+ years in B2B SaaS demand gen, marketing or GTM, ideally in a startup or scale-up.
• Have built inbound from a low base before, not just optimised an engine someone else set up. You've owned a pipeline number and hit it.
• Want to build a marketing function, not just run one channel. You're ambitious about growing the team as revel8 grows, and you want to lead it.
• Are hands-on by choice. You can run the campaigns yourself, and you'd rather ship a rough v1 this week than a perfect version next quarter.
• Bring us the plan instead of waiting for one. You spot the gap, decide what to do about it, and tell us what you need.
• Are analytical by default. CAC, CPL, MQL/SQL and conversion rates are how you argue, not vocabulary you've picked up.
• Treat inbound as a systems problem to be solved with data, AI and execution. Brand and design matter at revel8, but in this role your weapon of choice is the funnel.
• Are AI-native and work with tools like Claude, make or HubSpot. You automate instinctively so your time goes to the work that compounds.
• Communicate clearly in German and English (C1+ in both), and collaborate well across Sales, Product and Customer Success.

• Experience taking a marketing engine into new markets beyond DACH.
• A background or genuine interest in cybersecurity, AI, or another tech-heavy space.
